Historic orchard could date back to 1250, likely to have been mixed fruit - apples, pears, cherries, damsons, medlars, quince, vines, nuts. New orchard started 2005 as partnership betweek Parks Services and Leicester Swadhyay Pariwar. Community planting - cherries, variety of apples, quince, medlars, plum and hazel.
